The dining hall – initially designed as the space where the Khuner family would spend most of their time – is the heart of the restaurant. It is two storeys high, with an impressive picture window looking out on Rax and Schneeberg, the two highest mountains of the province. Guests can not only sit by the cosy fireplace or right at the window but the old “study” – “Lesezimmer” in German – was also made part of the restaurant and now accommodates the non-smoking area.
In summer, guests are welcome to enjoy their food outside on the front terrace or in the back garden (with an adjacent playground for children)!
